Shifting apartments is a constant if not a recurring event in everyone's life. Many like me would be uncomfortable to shift and righly so, it takes plenty of effort and sometimes can lead to frustration.

 First of all, the person needs to make sure that they do not miss any charges or fees charged by professional movers that are involved with their move. Many folks think that this can be avoided, but in reality, having a professional team on board will make a huge difference-especially if there are plenty of items to move. Depending on your belongings you can also opt to only purchase boxes for these moving companies. This works excellent if your belongings are not too many. Before you start packing it is critical to begin organizing everything and working out a basic plan, such as grouping items in order of priority and usage.

Lastly, begin labeling all the items and have color batches in place preferably identified by rooms such as yellow for bedroom, green for the living room, etc.

Although moving to a rental home can be a daunting task if approached properly it can be tackled in an organized and planned manner. It is alo important to have a team of professionals on board it make life a lot easier.

I have travelled to many parts of India, but it is the state of Goa that has got me drawn to. I arrived in Goa in month of December and it has now been just over a month that I have been experiencing life here.  

I have been staying with a few friends that hired a villa that was put on the market by Asiatic Realtors. This lovely place is located in a tiny village of Ashwen situated in the northern part of the state. Villas of this nature are very popular here in comparision to apartments and cramped up studio apartments. Villas bring about their own private space and you pretty much have the whole place to yourself. This particular villa has 4 bedrooms that are occupied by a few friends. In all we are a total of 5 people and pretty much keep to ourself the entire day and catch-up for a chat in the evenings. The kitchen though is common to all and every bedroom has a bathroom attached to it as well. A nice swimming pool with a tiny garden to the side of it makes for a nice little hideaway- to read a book or simply laze. The villa also has a terrace that overlooks the main road, it makes for a nice spot to hang-out in the evenings with the gentle breeze that flows by as you gaze the stars.

The beach is just a few minutes away and is perhaps the best part of living here. I spend most of my time by the beach, soaking up the sun or talking a walk in the evenings.
